onetake Pro — Commercial Licence

In plain words

The films you make are yours — sell them, make them for clients, no credit needed. The package itself is for you (or the company named on your receipt): don't share, publish or resell it. Every 1.x update is included. The full terms below are what counts.

This licence is between the author and the person or organisation that bought this copy of onetake Pro (the "Licensee"), identified by the licensee id recorded in this copy. By installing or using the software you accept it.

What you get

"The Software" is everything in this package: the skill instructions (SKILL.md, references/), the library (lib/), the scripts (scripts/), the gallery, the looks, the film templates (templates/), the cases (cases/) and the sound kit (sound/), excluding the third-party components listed in section 6.

What you may do

On payment of the licence fee, the author grants the Licensee a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

Install and use the Software on any number of your own machines and agent environments.

Make films, animations and other media with it ("Outputs") for yourself, your employer or your clients, including for commercial and paid work. Outputs are yours; no attribution is required.

Modify the Software and build on it for your own use, including adapting the templates and cases into new films.

If the Licensee is an organisation, let its employees and contractors use the Software for the organisation's work. A licence is personal (it covers one person) unless the purchase receipt names an organisation as the Licensee.

What you may not do

a
Share, publish, redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent or give away the Software or any substantial part of it — in original or modified form — including uploading it to a public or shared repository, a marketplace, a skill or plugin directory, or a file-sharing service.

Package the Software, or a product substantially derived from it (for example its library, templates, cases, judgement rules or instructions), as a competing skill, template pack, course or tool.
c
Remove or alter the licence notices, copyright lines or licensee identifiers in the Software.

Outputs (rendered films) are not the Software and are not restricted by this section; the source files that produced them are.

Identification

Every copy of onetake Pro is uniquely identifiable to the buyer it was issued to. A copy found outside the terms above can be traced to its licensee.

Updates

All releases within the major version you bought (for example every 1.x release) are included, and you may download them again at any time. A later major version (2.0 and beyond) is a separate product, offered to existing licensees at a discount. The licence for the version you bought does not expire.

Third-party components

These are not covered by this licence and stay under their own terms, which travel with them:

Kenney sound packs (sound/sfx-src/kenney/): CC0 1.0.

University of Iowa Musical Instrument Samples (sound/sfx-src/uiowa/): free for any project, per their publisher.

Fonts in looks/fonts/ and in the case and template fonts/ folders: SIL Open Font License 1.1 (see looks/fonts/LICENSES.txt).

Sources you download with scripts/fetch_sources.py (Mixkit, Voxengo) are licensed to you directly by their publishers; see sound/README.md.
·
Third-party software the scripts call (Python packages, Playwright/Chromium, ffmpeg, Kokoro) is installed by you under its own licence.

Termination

This licence ends automatically if you breach section 3. You must then delete all copies of the Software. Outputs made before termination remain yours.

No warranty; limitation of liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SOFTWARE OR ITS USE. You are responsible for the licences of any music, footage, trademarks or other material you put into an Output.
